Explore light and refraction when making rainbows with Ms. Katy! Campers will learn about the science of rainbows while creating artful masterpieces and even experiment with splitting light in prisms they construct themselves.

Before Care Begins: 7:45am
Camp Check-In: 8:45am
Lunch: 12-1pm
Pick-Up: 4pm
After Care Pick-Up: 5:30pm

About the Teaching Artist: Katy Bruce
Katy Bruce is a multidisciplinary working artist, jewelry designer, and all-ages arts facilitator, born and raised in Tulsa, OK. They gain inspiration from their community, through connection, and self expression.

What to Expect
A day at Camp Philbrook starts in our studios, but we quickly use the whole museum: art, gardens, etc. to explore what it means to be a creative thinker and maker. Our workshops are geared towards getting messy, working together and making space for every child’s ideas.

Here are a few things to know:

1. We offer Before and After Care.**
2. Campers must bring their own lunch, free of peanut products.
3. We have a morning snack and afternoon snack built into each camp session.
4. We use the whole museum, which means we spend ample time outside when the weather permits. Please arrive wearing sunscreen and bug spray.
5. Your day at Philbrook will be filled with creative energy and fun! Please make sure to dress for mess and outdoor exploration.

**Before & After Care
Before & After Care is offered as a package for the camp week for an additional $30 per child. With the addition of Before & After Care to your ticket, you may drop your child off as early as 7:45am, and pick your child up at the end of the day between 4:00pm and 5:30pm
