Adaptation is a common aspect of popular culture, familiar to moviegoers and book lovers who endlessly debate whether the film version is superior to the novel. This exhibition considers the use of adaptation in the work of video artists who have transformed original material to make new works of art by re-envisioning classic literature, film, ballet, painting, and even email.
