Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is designed to honor our friends who make financial or estate gifts of any size through wills, trusts and other planned gifts and to recognize them for their dedication to our mission of realizing human potential through art by stimulating imagination, thought, creativity, and community development.

Philbrook’s history is indeed a testament to the power of legacy gifts, beginning, of course, with Waite and Genevieve Phillips’ own founding gift to this community. Since then donors of varying means have provided significant support for the museum in the form of planned gifts. Regardless of their level of support, these donors have found their gifts to Philbrook a way to perpetuate values and ideals that have been important to them in their lives. From gifts of art to charitable remainder trusts, our legacy donors sustain and strengthen all that is unique about Philbrook’s art collection, garden and grounds, historic home, and education programs.

We invite you to become a Member of this important group.

Legacy Society members have the satisfaction of knowing that they are continuing Philbrook’s tradition, helping to ensure the future strength of the museum through generous support. They are also recognized at an annual event to honor our Members

If you’ve already named us as the beneficiary of a planned gift, we welcome you as a Legacy Society member. If you’d like more information about how you can become a member—in a manner that benefits you, your heirs and Philbrook—call our Director of Development at (918) 748-5314.
