Philbrook is committed to making all guests feel welcome and supported. Whether you’re visiting the galleries, exploring the gardens, or attending a program, we offer a variety of services to ensure an accessible experience for visitors of all ages and abilities.

parking & entry

accessible parking

Designated spaces are located near the main entrance on the upper parking deck. A drop-off zone is also available. From the lower lot, stairs lead to the main entrance. 

For garden-level access, visit the Admissions Desk or call us for assistance at 918-748-5300 to learn more about accessible parking options. 

admission

Caregivers accompanying guests with disabilities receive free admission. Just ask at check-in. 

Through Museums for All, visitors with SNAP, TANF, WIC, or SoonerCare receive $1 general admission for up to 4 adults and unlimited youth (ages 3–17). Children 2 and under are always free. Show proof at check-in or call ahead to reserve discounted tickets. 

During your visit

mobility Access

Manual wheelchairs and rolling seated walkers are available free of charge (first-come, first-served). Most areas, including exhibits and the Villa, are accessible by ramps and elevators. Note: the Great Hall and Terrace require a short staircase. Some outdoor paths may be steep or uneven. 

restrooms

Private, wheelchair-accessible, all-gender, and family restrooms are located on the upper level. An outdoor accessible restroom is near the Film Lawn. 

Nursing space

We do not have a dedicated private nursing room, but guests are welcome to nurse wherever they feel most comfortable. If you would prefer a more semi-private space to nurse or pump, please ask any member of our staff and we’ll be happy to assist.

hearing assistance

Hearing Loop technology is available in the auditorium for visitors with hearing aids or cochlear implants. Assisted listening devices are also available at the Admissions Desk. Unsure if you have a Telecoil? Ask your hearing professional. To learn more about how it works, click here.

Most films and discussions hosted in the Patti Johnson Wilson Auditorium as well as most Films on the Lawn include captioning. Guests are encouraged to review individual event listings on the Events Calendar for details. ASL interpretation is available upon request with two weeks notice at 918-748-5300 or guestexperience@philbrook.org.

sensory support

Noise-canceling headphones and earplugs are available at the front desk. 

visual support

Large-print exhibition guides are available for select exhibitions—ask at the front desk.

storage

Complimentary lockers and a coat room are available. Please leave large bags or backpacks at home or in your vehicle.

Service Animals 

Service animals (as defined by the ADA) are welcome in all public areas. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted. 

programs & events

We strive to make all programs and events inclusive. Contact us in advance if accommodations are needed – we’re happy to help. Photography and filming requests for editorial or commercial usage is approved and coordinated by Philbrook’s Communications department.

sensory-friendly mornings

  • Held the first Sunday of each month from 9–11am. 
  • Explore the museum and gardens in a calmer environment. Choose your experience: gallery visit, quiet garden stroll, or nature play. Indoor/outdoor options and a designated quiet space are available. Borrow sensory tools like noise-canceling headphones, sunglasses, and fidgets (first-come, first-served). 
  • Included with general admission. Reserve tickets online or by calling 918-748-5300.

films
