Hunter O'Neal

Hunter is an educator and documentary filmmaker born and based in Oklahoma. Raised on local skate videos and storm chaser footage, his work treats Oklahoma as a primary hunting ground for stories. As a teacher, he creates spaces where young people can experiment and begin to see their own lives, questions, and surroundings as worthy of documentation. He is guided by a belief in the personal and social power that emerges when kids are trusted as storytellers. He lives in Tulsa with his cat, Butterbean, and his dog, Pencil.

Jamie Pierson

Jamie Pierson is a designer, artist, educator, and community organizer based in Tulsa, OK. Under the name Scraps Designs, she focuses on building community through play. Her work is interactive and participatory, taking the form of playscapes and installations made from cardboard and other common materials, often in shared or public spaces.

Jes McCutchen

Jes McCutchen (she/her) is a Tulsa born artist and writer with three published novels and a children’s book she wrote and illustrated. She taught public education for seven years and has loved summer art camps since she was a kid. It is her belief that anyone with an ounce of curiosity can create.

Jiji Coul

My practice consists of surreal oil paintings that explore the cycles of creation and our connection to Mother Earth. Drawing from my African and Native ancestry to tell a story, my work dives into the science of nature, the body, and culture. Through this exploration, the art becomes a projection of activism for knowledge.

Kaci Burr

Kaci Burr is a multidisciplinary artist with a background in education. She prioritizes using found materials, both natural and recycled, in her pieces. She is most known for her work with insects. Kaci’s core belief is that everyone is inherently an artist and that art can be absolutely anything.

Katie Romano

Katie Romano is a Tulsa-based visual artist and photographer currently pursuing a BFA in Photography at the University of Tulsa. In her teaching, Katie aims to create a supportive, hands-on environment where students can explore photography behind and beyond camera, experiment with materials, and learn through play. She believes making art together encourages collaboration, curiosity, and confidence.
