Join us for a screening of In MacArthur Park (1976). The film follows the story of a Mojave man who leaves the reservation for Los Angeles in a desperate attempt to support his family. After an encounter leads to an unintended tragedy, he is forced to navigate the weight of his actions while evading an eyewitness and the police.
A post-screening conversation follows to explore the film's themes and its place in Indigenous cinematic history.
