Philbrook Museum of Art, in partnership with OETA, invites the community to a special screening of two documentary films exploring the history and impact of the Mother Road. This program highlights the enduring legacy of Route 66 through cinematic storytelling and historical preservation.
Back In Time: Route 66 - The First 100 Years Duration: 27 minutes, 44 seconds This film examines the century-long evolution of the highway, documenting its role in shaping the American landscape and the communities it connects.
Route 66: Mapping The Mother Road Duration: 28 minutes, 2 seconds A focused look at the geography and navigation of the road, exploring how it was charted and the cultural significance of the path it carved through the heart of the country.
