Tulsa’s favorite neighborhood haunt meets Tulsa’s favorite backyard. It’s a pop-up. It’s an exhibition. It’s a chance to embrace your salad days at the new Tandy Pavilion.
Curated by Cassidy Petrazzi and Krystle Schilling, Salad Days draws on a phrase that has come to signify youthful vitality and experimentation. Featuring artwork by Katie Allen, Shane Darwent, J. Jones, DeJon Knapp, Ruth Loveland, and Richard Zimmerman, the exhibition brings together artists whose practices are shaped by places they inhabit and the communities they cultivate. Across painting, sculpture, ceramics, and floral arrangement, the works reveal place not simply as a backdrop, but as an active collaborator in the creative process.
Come hungry and stay awhile. Food and cocktails available for purchase from Tina’s. Live performance by Labrys.
Salad Days will remain on view at Tandy Pavilion for one weekend only! If you miss the Friday night event, stop by and experience the exhibition through Sunday, August 30.
